Happy new year from the monastery-turned-library where we are currently on a self-imposed writing retreat! I’m writing on the day of Epiphany, as I await epiphanies of my own, to fill the silence (I haven’t abandoned this blog yet!) and list some things I published this last year in one place, for those who are or aren’t interested.

Mainly, this past year was focused on Beautiful Days Press, which George and I have ramped up this year. We published two issues of our journal, Works & Days, on the summer and winter solstices of this past year, with beautiful and challenging work by over 50 contributors. It was a year of abundant poetry.
We also published two long poetry chapbooks and one book of poetry:
Slow Violence by Katherine Duckworth
The Stay Behind by Serena Solin
the fox hunts by Eric Tyler Benick
I’m in awe of all three writers. (Please buy a copy of any of these, or reach out if you want me to send you one!)

This year I published a little bit of my own work, most written before 2023:
A poem in Volume Poetry, “angles in the infield”
A review-essay of Jeremy Hoevenaar’s Our Insolvency in Annulet Poetics
A guided meditation/electronic album in collaboration with my friend Will Adamowicz (previously mentioned on this blog)
~
That’s all! I hope you are all rocketing into anno 24 full of glowing juice and aplomb.
